Pray for Your Grandchildren to Control their Tongue

The way our grandchildren respond to others is important. Getting along with others is a big part of having success in school, relationships, and their future work experience. Learning to get along with ones siblings is a good place to learn to get along with others. Learning to control their anger will keep them from making some big mistakes.

Pray your grandchildren will:

  • Learn to control their tongues at an early age for success in their relationships with their families, in school, and employment. (Proverbs 13:3 NLT)
  • Learn to speak gently with understanding and not stir up anger with harsh words, which they will regret, especially in confrontations. (Proverbs 15:1)
  • Learn to control their tongue when angry. Anger can cause mistakes. (Proverbs 14:29)
  • Learn that the tongue of the wise brings healing.” ( Proverbs 12:18)

Have you heard about the Grandparents@Prayer groups?

If you would you like to find grandparents to pray with? We have the answer.

Christian Grandparents Network saw the need and has encouraged Grandparents @ Prayer (G@P) groups to provide a safe environment for two or more grandparents to gather and pray for their grandchildren. Most groups schedule their meetings weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly. Meetings last approximately one hour.  G@P groups consist of small or large groups of people meeting once or twice a month at a designated location for 1 to 1 ½ hours of prayer and fellowship.

Anne Graham Lotz posted on Facebook May 7, 2015 “In these days of desperation and confusion, hopelessness and helplessness, when mountains are collapsing, nations are warring, people are rioting, the earth is quaking and the enemy is threatening, it’s time to cry out to the Lord NOW!”
