Weekly Pray for your Grandchildren #48

By grandparenting 5 years agoNo Comments

We read in Ephesians 6:2-3, “Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may go well with you and that you enjoy long life on the earth.”

A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother. Proverbs 10:1

Listen to your father who gave you life and do not despise your mother when she is old. Proverbs 23:22

The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him. May your father and mother be glad, may she who gave you birth rejoice.  Proverbs 23:24, 25

.  .  . a child left to himself disgraces his mother. Proverbs 29:15b

A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, . .. Proverbs 29:3a

Pray for your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will learn to obey at an early age. They along with their parents will have a calmer and happier environment in their home. Learning to be obedient to their parents and those in authority over them, such as their teachers in school, will result in a better life, a life with promise.
