Our world needs prayer, will you join me in prayer?

We are going through a worldwide crisis of the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, riots, earthquakes, wildfires, hurricanes, and chaos. It has been a time of uncertainty, frustrations, disappointments, and instability. The coronavirus has attacked every country in the world, with no end in sight. 

In the United States, we are approaching a presidential election next week, causing lots of division and unrest. The future of our grandchildren and future generations navigating in our post-Christian culture can only be rescued by God.  

It is crystal clear: politics will not heal us, and the government will not fix us. However, I believe God can deliver us if praying grandparents are intentionally praying crying out to God.

“ If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.’  2 Chronicles 7:14”

The Word of God says, ‘Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22

It’s time to pray for. . .

• a hedge of protection for our leaders and the candidates.
• God’s guidance in casting our ballots.
• candidates who stand for biblical truths to stand strong in their faith.
• candidates who share our biblical values to win.
• lies to be exposed and truth to be revealed.
• diminished unrest in the streets.
• peace: no division among people.
• Grandparents to share with their grandchildren that our only hope is in God.

Sample of Scriptures to pray for your grandchildren

Titus 2:12   Our grandchildren will live in this evil world with self-control, right conduct, and devotion to God.

I Peter 5:8,9   Our grandchildren will be alert and watch out for the temptations from the enemy, standing firm in their faith.
