Happy Birthday, America

Next week on July 4, we will celebrate Independence Day, 244 years from the birth of our nation. It’s an excellent time to have a birthday party to show our loyalty to the many men and women who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy as we celebrate our nation’s birthdays. We often get discouraged with what is going on in our country, but we still have the freedom to pray and worship God. 

“We didn’t choose this cultural moment. Our time and place in history is chosen by God. Because He has placed us here, our moment in history is not an accident, but a calling. We have been invited into His life, His kingdom, His story. Nothing in our lives is excluded from this reality, and He asks nothing less of us than full participation.” 1.

• Pray for our nation because God is the only one who can make changes, not our leaders. 
• Pray that Truth will prevail, and the lies will be exposed.
